Final opponent for the day, and welcome Cameron to the wonderful world of ADLG wargaming. For this engagement we deployed the NKE Chariots on the left near the coastline, with the infantry centre and left to take and seize the gully (my gully).
Median bow fire was starting to inflict casualties as we advanced. However, on the left we have driven of the enemy light cavalry and exposed the cavalry’s flank to attack.
The infantry battle is relatively even, although on my left end of the line the Sherden warriors have lost a unit but they have also broken through. However, the NKE chariots have decimated the Median cavalry and are trying to now move forward to support the infantry.
Outcome
A win, eventually, for the Egyptians by 19 to 26.
